| Abstract | ABP Marine Environmental Research Ltd and the GeoData Institute were jointly commissioned by the Medina Estuary Management Committee in May 2002 to undertake a study into the sustainable use of the Medina Estuary, Isle of Wight. The study was a further development of the Medina Estuary Management Plan, which was published in May 1997. The aim of the study was to provide the Medina Estuary Management Committee with a framework for making sustainable management decisions for the estuary, in the context of relevant legislation and environmental designations. |
