| Abstract | The survey estimated angling effort, defined as the number of anglers per site and time spent fishing, catch rates based on the number of fish caught per unit effort, and biomass estimates of retained and released fish weights. Data collection was conducted through onsite surveys of shore and private boat angler counts and interviews, charter boat logbook surveys based on weekly activity reports from participating skippers, and follow-up surveys to validate recall bias and refine catch estimates. |
