Call for Bids for NEG Funding - deadline 20 March

We are issuing a call for bids for Natural Environment Group (NEG) project funding for 2026/27. All the information, including the bidding pro forma, is available via the Solent Marine Sites website.

This page also details where the Solent Marine Sites Management Scheme has identified an evidence need which is where we will prioritise funding. Additional Solent research needs can be viewed at: Solent research needs. Please email all completed forms to info@solentforum.org.

The deadline for this year is 20 March 2026 with a total of £3k available for all projects.

NEG members will be invited to have their say on which project(s) they would like to fund in early April; the NEG meeting on 29 April 2026 will confirm the successful bidders.
