Marine Consents Guide
Fourth Edition (in preparation)
The Forum will be reviewing its Marine Consents Guide over the 2011/12 financial year to take account of the changes in marine licencing since the introduction of the Marine and Coastal Access Act, 2009. The new Guide will be the fourth edition and will be an online version hosted on this website. Please look at our scoping paper to see the content of the new edition. If you would like more information then please contact the Forum Office. This publication is being prepared with funding from The Crown Estate’s marine stewardship programme.
Once the guide has been completed in spring 2012, you will be able to use it to undertake the following:

Third Edition
In 2006, the Solent Forum produced its third edition of its Marine Consents Guide to help those undertaking development in the coastal zone to understand the licences and regulations that are applicable and how to go about applying for them. It gives detailed information about the consents needed and the activities for which those consents apply. It can be downloaded as a pdf file - Marine Consents Guide 2006.
