| Main Objectives of Group | - To encourage a balance between the natural environment of the Harbour and its commercial, environmental and recreational uses; - To encourage the community to respond to any development or other proposals that might have a detrimental effect on the Harbour and surrounding areas. |

| What the Group does | - Raise awareness of issues affecting the Harbour; - Maintain effective contact with statutory bodies such as the Isle of Wight Council, English Nature and the Environment Agency; - Response with objections to planning applications that could have an adverse effect in the Harbour area. |
