Membership Information All per year: £3 per individual, £2 retired/unwaged, £4 family. To join please contact the Secretary.
Main Objectives of Group - To encourage a balance between the natural environment of the Harbour and its commercial, environmental and recreational uses;
- To encourage the community to respond to any development or other proposals that might have a detrimental effect on the Harbour and surrounding areas.
What the Group does - Raise awareness of issues affecting the Harbour;
- Maintain effective contact with statutory bodies such as the Isle of Wight Council, English Nature and the Environment Agency;
- Response with objections to planning applications that could have an adverse effect in the Harbour area.
Regular Publications - Bi-annual (Spring-Autumn) Sentinel;
- Newsletter of the Bembridge & St Helens Harbour Association.
Regular Events - Annual or Bi-annual beach clean;
- Publicity Stall at annual Bembridge Street Fair;
- Public open meeting annually - "Know your Harbour" with a guest speaker;
- Autumn AGM with a guest speaker.N/A
