| Membership Information | Membership is £4.00 for full, £7 joint, Corporate £10, senior £3, joint senior £5 and junior free. To become a member apply to the executive or one of the groups. Contact is via East Cowes Heritage Centre, 8 Clarence Road, East Cowes, PO32 6EP. |

| Main Objectives of Group | The objective of the group is to help preserve the character of the Isle of Wight by: Stimulating public interest in the Island; Promoting high standards of planning and architecture on the Island; Securing the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest on the Island. |

| What the Group does | The society has 3 area groups that hold monthly meetings to discuss local matters and listen to speakers. Each local Group monitors planning applications in its own area and comments accordingly. There is also an Executive Committee that meet monthly, discuss planning issues and develop policy. | |
